It is with great pleasure that Free Mind Foundry welcomes the new Sicilian start up: KYMIA.
KYMIA, vincitrice dell’edizione 2021 di Start Cup Catania, è composta da Arianna Campione, Anna Cacopardo, Stefano Alberto Paganini, Simona Bonaccorsi, Simona Podimani, Roberto Barcella e Vincenzo Lucente.
An extraordinary team that strongly believes in the land from which it came to life, Sicily, and works daily to ensure that it can be recognized for the excellence and resources of which it is rich.
The first to have believed in the potential of our island was Dr. Arianna Campione who, thanks to a brilliant intuition, managed to obtain the antioxidant active Pistactive-F® from the pistachio husk, a waste element, from which the No Age – Botox Like formula was born.
Obtained from the hyperfermentation of the husk, the first cosmetic active ingredient intended for all women who want to feel naturally beautiful is born; a cream rich in precious ingredients capable of fighting the signs of aging, respecting and adapting to all skin types.
However, KYMIA's attention is not limited exclusively to the valorization of its land and the well-being of the person, but also to the health of the environment.

Thanks to the perspicacity and determination of Dr. Campione and her team, the recovery of this element, generally labeled as waste, had a profound effect on the emission of CO2 released into the air once the husk was discarded and burned, and on its disposal which over time became an increasingly burdensome burden for farmers and the Municipality.
We hope that within the large digital community of Free Mind Foundry, our new entry can find space and a way to realize itself and grow, reaching and exceeding all its objectives.
